1) International Orders

***Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase/ delivery.

2) How long will my custom order take?

We make all of our pieces by hand in our studio. We do our best to turn orders around as quickly as possible, typically shipping within 2-3 business days. Some pieces, specifically custom colored gemstone jewelry can take up to 4-6 weeks to create. If you need something by a specific date or would like to expedite service, please make sure to leave a note at checkout and/or email us at thevault@gemsyndicate.com. Please note, orders placed during the holiday season may incur longer production times. We are not liable for any shipping delays via Fedex or USPS. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

3) What is the Exchange Policy

Custom gemstone jewelry, personalized jewelry and special orders are NOT eligible for exchange or return. Custom orders are your designs, your tastes, and your idea of a particular piece.

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, The Gem Syndicate will accept most other items for exchange. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your item, if you wish to exchange it. Due to the handmade nature of each piece, we do not currently accept any returns. All rings are subject to a resizing fee and can't be exchanged for another size.

Please ensure that the item being exchanged is in new and re-saleable condition. Return within 14 business days from the delivery date of your order. If you would like to make an exchange please email for an authorization form at thevault@gemsyndicate.com. Exchanges cannot be processed without an authorization form. For your protection, please pack your exchange in the original box, ship your order with an insured courier and retain your receipt. Gem Syndicate is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Please include a detailed note with your name, email address and invoice number on your authorization form. Once your exchange is processed, your new piece will be shipped back out to you. We cannot refund shipping charges on exchange or return items.

4) What is Return Policy

OUR RETURN POLICY

At the Gem Syndicate your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed or items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days from when you sign for and receive your item from the shipping carrier. Please contact us to confirm your order is eligible for return/refund via email TheVault@GemSyndicate.com or call us at 206.900.3571

Custom made items or items that have been altered to your specifications before shipping will not be accepted for return or refund for any reason.

Please note: Loose gemstones will not be accepted for a refund if they have been set, scratched, chipped, fractured, weigh differently or have been altered in any way. We strongly recommend that you do not set your gemstone with another jeweler until you fully intend to purchase it.

All items purchased on sale are final, no returns or exchanges will be accepted.

HOW TO RETURN AN ORDER

  • 1. Contact us: Call us at 206.900.3571 or email TheVault@GemSyndicate.com to discuss your issue.
  • 2. Packing your order: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all gemstone certificates (a $50-250 replacement fee per certificate, depending on source of certificate, will be charged otherwise). For security reasons, do not write jewelry, gemstones or other related words anywhere on the package.
  • 3. Shipment and Insurance: We recommend purchasing additional insurance for your shipment. Until the item is received and signed for by a Gem Syndicate representative we do not incur any liability for theft or loss. We also suggest that you "double box" your shipment and follow these instructions. Enclose your gemstone or jewelry inside its original gemstone/jewelry box. We recommend using the original packaging from your order. Place the gemstone box inside the small box. Place the small box inside the larger box. Affix the label to the outside of the larger box.

HOW TO RETURN AN ORDER

After we receive the returned order, our Quality Assurance department will inspect and verify the condition of the item. Returns take approximately seven business days to process upon receipt of the item. The Gem Syndicate will refund the original purchase amount of the item less the cost of shipping/insurance via the mode of payment used in the original purchase. For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Packages without a return shipping authorization number or packages that were refused delivery will not be accepted for refund and are subject to a minimum restocking charge of 15%. Return shipping authorizations are active for seven days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorization. If your return shipping authorization has expired, please contact us at 206.900.3571 to request another return shipping authorization. All requests for refunds must be in writing via email. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been altered or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return.

5) How do I find my ring size

Please email us at TheVault@gemsyndicate.com to request a free plastic ring sizing sheet to measure your finger.

6) Privacy Policy

Gem Syndicate will never share your personal information or credit card information with any other person or organization, ever.

7) Do you use photoshop on product images?

All product images are taken on a Google Pixel phone under 10x magnification and remain unaltered.

8) How do I care for my jewelry? cleaning etc..
